Keep aftercare simple
Follow the guidance provided at the appointment and use the included Studex aftercare lotion as directed. Always wash your hands before going near the piercings and avoid unnecessary touching.
Keep hair, clothing and anything that may catch away from the earrings where possible. Do not pick at the area or use products that were not recommended for the piercing.
Leave the first earrings in place
Do not change the original safety earrings before the piercings are fully healed. Healing varies, so contact us if you are unsure rather than changing them early.
When the time is right, bring in a suitable pair of next earrings and we will check they are appropriate and autoclave them free of charge before the first change.
When to ask for help
Some initial tenderness can be expected, but if anything worries you, contact the studio for guidance. We would always prefer that a parent asks rather than worries at home.
